The major inspiration behind these mascots were his immense love and passion for water, as it effectively takes great shapes on getting changed into ice. Thus, both the Neve and Gilz were reflecting the spirit of passion, elegance, enthusiasm and love for environment during the Turin Olympics. Both of them were also representing young generation, as they were full of energy and life!
