This stunningly awesome Beijing National Stadium has occupancy of approximately 80, 000 spectators. It will feature a lattice like structure that forms the stadium bowl. Earlier, architects were describing it is a nest like structure with retractable roof opening. In the year 2004, due to safety and economic reasons the idea of retractable roof was eliminated.
In the Beijing National Stadium, spectators can enjoy opening as well as closing ceremony, along with various athletic events. Well, al of us are eagerly awaiting for Beijing Olympics 2008!
